Samaila Atsen Bako

Samaila Atsen Bako is the security evangelist at Code for Africa (CfA) responsible for digital security policy and strategy. He holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Management from the University of Warwick (UK), and cybersecurity certifications from PECB, (ISC)2, EC-Council and Proofpoint. Samaila has eight years experience in helping organisations secure their digital assets and building a security culture. He is a recipient of the IFSEC Global Influencer in Security 2022, and the CSEAN Cyber Security Awareness Champion 2018 awards. He spends his free time mentoring, volunteering, and speaking at technology and security events.
